This project is making ecodesign happen by improving the delivery of a sustainable business support programme and highlighting transferable knowledge to other programmes in the future.
The SVID project generated recommendations for undertaking best practice in ecodesign research and education. Research projects such as SVID develop the broader infrastructure required to make ecodesign practice the norm.
This project directly advanced the ecodesign agenda by supporting a multinational organisation in taking its first steps towards implementing ecodesign practices.
The Program of Work is making ecodesign happen in Wales by informing the development of Welsh Government policy, increasing ecodesign awareness in businesses and implementing ecodesign education according to international best practice.
LCA to Go directly increases the integration of ecodesign within SMEs’ product development processes through development of an SME specific Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool.
This project researches the challenges for Small to Medium Size Enterprises in implementing ecodesign practices when faced with complex materials, complex supply chains and unsuitable environmental assessment approaches.
